A High‐Resolution, Transparent, and Stretchable Polymer Conductor for Wearable Sensor Arrays

Arrays of stretchable and transparent electronic sensors realize next-generation skin-conformable wearables soft robotic skins, which require a high-resolution patternable conductor. However, the difficulty simultaneously engineering desirable material properties (i.e., conductivity, stretchability, patternability) has limited development such materials. Herein, patternable, stretchable, conducting polymer by decoupled is shown. The high conductivity achieved rationally designing an ionic additive. stretchability realized matching mechanical to substrate. developed then patterned in resolution less than 10 µm nanosecond UV laser ablation, enables feasible demonstration sensor arrays for touch strain. findings this work will accelerate high-density semiconductor devices.
